Revival Bone and Joint Hospital is a leading orthopaedic hospital in Thane, built on more than 20,000 surgeries, 2,400+ robotic procedures, and over two decades of trust. From sports injuries to complex joint replacement, we bring inpatient care, surgery and rehabilitation together under one roof.
Our story
Revival began on 24 May 1998, when our first facility opened its doors. On 9 October 2005 we expanded into our second hospital. Both were inaugurated by the renowned orthopaedic surgeon Dr. C. A. Talwalkar, our mentor and guide. Our founding doctors, Dr. Milind Patil and Dr. Anjali Patil, have always believed that true medicine is practised with love, not just logic, and that every patient should be treated like family.
From 5 beds to 49, from a single ward to specialised units for every kind of care, Revival has grown into a modern hospital built to world-class standards, with NABH accreditation in process for our new address. That growth belongs to our patients, whose trust has let us excel in joint replacement, orthopaedic surgery, fracture management, spine surgery and sports injury care.
Robotic joint replacement
In January 2021, Revival became the 4th hospital in India and the first in western India to acquire the MAKO robot for joint replacement, making Dr. Milind Patil the first standalone surgeon in the country to do so. Used in over 90% of hospitals worldwide, MAKO leads robotic knee replacement with unmatched precision and personalised surgical planning, pairing advanced technology with human skill for the highest accuracy.
Our facilities
Revival is equipped for complete orthopaedic care across every stage of treatment:
- 4 modular operation theatres with laminar air flow, 2 of them robotic, plus a casualty OT for minor procedures
- A 15 bedded Intensive Care Unit with defibrillators, pacemakers and ventilators, managed by qualified critical care specialists
- Arthroscopy equipment for keyhole joint surgery
- In-house pathology lab, X-ray and pharmacy
- Emergency 2D echocardiography and Dobutamine stress echocardiography for pre-surgical risk evaluation
- USG-guided nerve blocks for acute injury and post-operative pain, allowing faster recovery
- Advanced washer-disinfectors and sterilisation units, with two nursing stations on every floor for round-the-clock care
- Comfortable rooms across deluxe, single, twin, triple sharing, five-bedded wards and a suite, with dedicated waiting lounges
